our follower alastaire wrote us an email asking us to spread the word about the planned cladding of guy’s hospital. the highest hospital building in the world is a textbook example for brutalist architecture and therefore not the most popular building in london. the people in charge are now planning to cover up the facades with shiny blue panels to supposedly clean up the city’s skyline by simply hiding the real look of the building. this strangly reminds me of something. fail.
